Associate Professor Rosemary Harrup
Rosemary is the Chair of COGNO Ltd. She trained in Medical Oncology and Clinical and Laboratory Haematology, completing a dual Fellowship in 2000. She has been Head of Department Medical Oncology and Haematology (including the Cancer Clinical Trials Unit) at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) since 2009.
Associate Professor Eng-Siew Koh
A/Prof Koh is a consultant Radiation Oncologist based at Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre, Liverpool Hospital, NSW. She qualified in Medicine at the University of Adelaide then completed her specialty training at Westmead Hospital. She undertook a three year Fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital, and the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, Canada, in adult and paediatric neuro-oncology and stereotactic radiotherapy, and haematologic and breast malignancies.
Associate Professor Georgia Halkett
A/Prof Georgia Halkett is a Senior Research Fellow at Curtin University. Georgia’s program of research focuses on cancer patient’s psychosocial and information needs, communication between health professionals and cancer patients, the needs of carers of patients diagnosed with brain cancer and research in radiation therapy.
Penny Egan
Penny was appointed CEO of Cancer Council Tasmania in May 2013. Prior to that, Penny was the Chief Financial Officer of the Department of Health and Human Services and Forestry Tasmania and has over 25 years’ experience in executive business roles. Penny has a Bachelor of Business degree, and is a Fellow of both CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Robert Simpson
Bob is an experienced Company Director. He holds degrees in Engineering and holds a PhD in Organisational Leadership. He was CEO of Ethos Urban and Coffey MPW, and was a director of Coffey International Ltd where he worked in senior executive roles in Strategy and Corporate Development. he worked extensively in International Development throughout Asia, Africa and the Pacific.
